This vegan abalone offers a delicious, plant-based alternative to traditional abalone, crafted from alga colloidal protein, taro protein, and seaweed extract powder. It provides a savory ocean-like flavor while being free from soy and gluten. Perfect for stir-fries, rice dishes, or as a stand-alone entrée, this vegan abalone will satisfy your cravings for seafood without the use of animal products.

Ingredients:

  • Alga Colloidal Protein
  • Taro Protein
  • Seaweed Extract Powder
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Salt
  • Vegetarian Spices

Cooking Instructions:

Skillet:

  1. Slice your desired vegetables (such as bell peppers, carrots, or mushrooms) and the vegan abalone into small pieces.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet or wok over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced vegetables and vegan abalone to the pan.
  4. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and the abalone is slightly golden.
  5. Optional: Add rice or your favorite sauce for extra flavor.
  6. Serve and enjoy!

Vegan Abalone Stir-Fry:

  1. Prepare your favorite vegetables (onion, snow peas, and zucchini work great).
  2. In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
  3. Add the vegan abalone and cook for 2-3 minutes until golden.
  4. Add the vegetables and stir-fry until they are tender.
  5. Pour in a splash of soy sauce or vegan oyster sauce for extra flavor.
  6. Serve hot with steamed rice.

Vegan Abalone Soup:

  1. In a pot, bring vegetable broth to a boil.
  2. Add sliced vegan abalone, mushrooms, and any vegetables you like (such as bok choy or spinach).
  3. Let it simmer for 10 minutes until the flavors meld together.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of vegetarian spices.
  5. Serve hot as a flavorful, comforting soup.

Not much flavor, some smell
I've never actually had abalone so I don't know what it tastes like but this tastes like pretty much chewy nothingness to me. It has the smell of seafood but not very strong and it doesn't match to compensate for the lack of flavor. Still more edible than the lobster but not by much.

Vegan Abalone
Really easy to prepare and tasty! I sliced and warmed it up covered in the microwave for about a minute. Added to Asian noodle soup. Very delicious! Definitely of my favorites!

Not bad
It was easy to prepare and I sauted it for about 10 minutes whole. Sliced up and served with butter only and it tasted much like the vegan prawns I purchased.

Amazing
I love the vegan abalone in soup and other recipes..Love the texture, love the chewiness..it seems to take on the flavor of the sauces or soups..One of my NEW FAVORITES from Mah Wah..
