Cooking Suggestions:

Classic Vegetable Stew:

  1. Cut Vegan Stewed Mutton and desired vegetables (such as potatoes, mushrooms, tomatoes, and carrots) into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a pot, bring water to a boil, then add the vegetables and Vegan Stewed Mutton.
  3. Simmer for 30-45 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  4. Season with 2 tablespoons of mushroom seasoning for extra umami, and add a drizzle of spicy oil if you like.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy the hearty flavors.

Slow-Cooked Casserole:

  1. Place Vegan Stewed Mutton and chopped root vegetables (like parsnips, onions, and carrots) in a slow cooker.
  2. Add vegetable broth to cover, along with seasonings like rosemary, thyme, and bay leaves.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours until flavors meld and the mutton has a tender, stewed texture.
  4. Serve with crusty bread or over rice.

Savory Stir-Fry:

  1. Slice Vegan Stewed Mutton and vegetables like bell peppers, zucchini, and onions.
  2. Heat 1-2 tablespoons of oil in a skillet and stir-fry the mutton and vegetables over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
  3. Add soy sauce or your preferred stir-fry sauce and continue to cook until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. Serve over steamed rice or noodles for a quick and satisfying meal.

Baked Mutton and Vegetable Gratin:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Layer Vegan Stewed Mutton and sliced vegetables in a baking dish, seasoning each layer with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of vegetable broth.
  3. Cover with foil and bake for 30-35 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
  4. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes for a golden, roasted finish.

Chefs kiss
I love how they already come seasoned so I don’t have to do much to it but I could literally turn these into whatever I want. I love the versatility of these. I made vegan oxtails with these before, orange chicken, popcorn bites. You can do anything to these and it’ll taste good. I’m so glad I found this place

Good for frying
This product is good, not my favorite but I enjoy it. It tastes like meatloaf but with the texture of lamb, kind of bready, slightly mushroomy flavor. Good fried with oil and a little soy sauce because it gets crispy on the outside. Personally I think it has a little bit of a freezer taste which doesn't go away even when I use it in a stew or curry (it also gets kind of mushy if cooked in that way). I will keep trying to find a good recipe for this.
