These vegan citrus spare ribs provide a delicious, plant-based alternative to traditional ribs. Made with textured soybean protein and a blend of tangy, sweet, and savory flavors, they are perfect for grilling, pan-frying, or roasting. Infused with mirin, soy sauce, and citrus, these ribs bring a rich, mouth-watering flavor to your dish. Ideal for a quick and easy meal, they can be served as an entrée or paired with sides for a complete feast.

Cooking Suggestions:

Stovetop:

  1. Heat 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the vegan citrus spare ribs to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crispy on the edges.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, and 1 tablespoon of raw cane sugar to make a glaze.
  4. Once the ribs are cooked, pour the glaze over the ribs and stir to coat evenly.
  5. Serve hot with a side of steamed rice and stir-fried vegetables for a flavorful meal.

Grill:

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
